Here’s How Our Webinars Work

With all that’s going on, like the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, webinars have never been more important! With our upcoming Fire Safety Webinar Training Course happening, here we take you through everything you need to know.

What you will need

Anyone can access the webinar on a PC, MAC, tablet or even a smartphone. One thing you will need is speakers or headphones to ensure you can hear the presenter and videos. If you don’t want to be seen or have zoom fatigue, don’t worry! You don’t need a camera, the presenter is the only person who will be seen. It’s also worth having a pen and paper to hand to make notes as well as a cuppa as the webinar will take around 45 minutes.

How to access the webinar

Everyone will be sent a link to the webinar and will need to click on the register box at the bottom of the loading page. You will then be prompted to enter the following details: your full name and email. The email is vital as it’s the one we need to send you the certificate upon completion. The date and time of the training will already be in the box on the form.

Check your inbox for the email, check your junk if it is not there. If you have not received an email after checking both your inbox and junk, please contact jonathan@jlhfire.co.uk to get a new link. The email should contain the password you need to join the webinar. Once you have entered the password, you’ll see a countdown on the screen until the webinar goes live. Click play on the play button to start the broadcast!

Other things you need to know

If you miss the webinar or want a refresh, you will get a link that has an on-demand replay. There will be slides and video content, which are downloadable at the end of the webinar. If you want to ask a question, there will be a box you can write-in on the screen. There is no such thing as a stupid question!

There is a short 10 question quiz and if successful you will receive your CPD certificate within 30 days. If you fail on the first attempt, never fear we will contact you with an opportunity to try again.
